This is a GREAT sweet treat for people with certain food allergies. Its festive; the dark chocolate adds a lot of anti-oxidant power; there’s relatively little sugar; and it’s got fiber! What great traits in a dessert!

This is one of my all-time favorite recipes. Besides being filled with flavor, fiber, and anti-oxidants, it’s an easy on-the-go food. My only complaint is that we can’t stop eating them. One batch doesn’t even last a day in my family!

The soaking/sprouting thing used to confuse me…why soak something and then dehydrate it? Raw foodies will highlight a lot of reasons, but a big one for kids, is that the nuts actually taste sweeter (less bitter), and that’s good enough for me!
