organic delivery

Eating local is (in general) a great way to get healthier and help the planet at the same time. Having fresh, and local delivered, is to me, the cherry on top! Living in Austin, I subscribe to Greenling, but if you live elsewhere, check out localharvest.org. It's a great resource.
Now, a little more about Greenling:
I love this company for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is that by subscribing to their local organic delivery box, I can skip midweek trips to the store with two young children in tow (What's that worth?!?!) But, beyond the personal time-related benefits, by subscribing to Greenling, I can give my family the freshest produce (which means more antioxidants and higher nutrient density overall); my choices use less of the planet's precious natural resources, since they are local and organic and in season; and I get to support local farms!
Besides, Mason, the owner, is creating the kind of business that I hope will serve as a model for commerce going forward. He's smart and kind, all the while a businessperson (proving compassion and capitalism can, indeed, coexist...in fact, it's my opinion that they will necessarily become closer partners if we are to change things for the better!)
